Full Size and Mini Watermelon Lights for Bumpers 

We love a good set of watermelon lights for custom bumpers! Whether you want recessed mounts or dozens of minis, the team at Swanks and Sons is happy to make your dream truck a reality. Sunken watermelons are great for backlighting and accents. RoadWorks also makes a low profile watermelon for areas with less clearance. 

We put together a RoadWorks bumper with lights for a local Louisville trucker with a Peterbilt 389. The RoadWorks LED watermelons come with all kinds of options, including smooth and jewel cut lenses. Hero lights can be sunken into the metalwork with recessed mounts.  

Different Colors with Watermelon Lights 

Obviously, if you want a red or amber lens, then the light will be either red or amber. RoadWorks lets you choose a combination of colors with a clear lens, like blue/white, green/white, purple/white, and red/white. Trux watermelon lights let you give red or amber markers another color setting like blue, purple, green, pink, or white. JML Kustoms has an even wider range of dual color options, including cyan, violet, dark green, and dark purple.  

At Swanks and Sons, we can help with relevant DOT regulations on the placement of red and amber lights. JML Kustoms, for example, stipulates that their color bulbs are not DOT approved and intended for show purposes only. If you prefer a configuration that’s not “by the book,” then we’ll just make sure we’re on the same page. Dual color lights let you choose creative colors for truck shows without always running in that mode.
